Great way to shop for Christmas gifts!
FBLA in collaboration with the Lockwood Food Pantry is organizing a HS food drive for the next 12 days. Each class is challenged with getting the most students involved by bringing in the item designated (and number) each day!
We encourage community members to also join in the challenge! You can bring in the items to the HS and support any class of your choice.

Yesterday, Kindergarten talked about everything they are thankful for. We made
"Thankful turkeys" to share the things we are thankful for.
Thank you to PTO for the delicious soup, chili, and desserts for the teacher/staff lunch today!

What better way to kick off Thanksgiving than with an Ag Lab FriYAY Pie Day! Students in 4th-6th grades learned about pumpkins, apples, or cherries - including the life cycle of the crop, harvest, production, and marketing. Then to top it off, we made “pie in a bag!” Agriculture sure is yummy! (Well, some students still weren’t sold on the pumpkin.)

Reminder: The Dade County Health Department will be at Lockwood School on Friday, Nov. 22nd (tomorrow), to provide flu shots at no charge to interested students.
Parents must fill out and sign a consent form. Forms were sent home last week with elementary students. Parents may contact Nurse Lori at 417-232-4528 for further information.
