The Youth Empowerment Program is now collecting nonperishable goods to refill the local food pantries. Donations can be dropped off at school or Prairie Mercantile. They are also collecting gently used clothing and toiletries for high school students.

Due to the Lutheran school cancelling classes today, there will be no after school care at the Lutheran school.

A tree was planted this morning at the elementary/middle school building in memory of Ben Friend. We are thinking of Ben today and remembering his contagious smile!

The next ACT test is October 27. Registration has to be completed online at www.actstudent.org by September 28 to avoid late fees. When registering, be sure to include our high school code (262020) when it is requested. The test costs $50.50 (without writing) and $67.00 (with writing). ACT information and practice test booklets are available in the Mrs. Coose’s office. Future ACT dates can be found at the website under Counselor's Corner> General Information.

PTO will be set up before school on Wednesday, September 12 at the elementary school and Thursday, September 13 at the high school selling Red Sea shirts to wear to the homecoming game on Friday. Shirts are only $5!
