Kindergarten screening will be April 30. Please call the elementary office at 232-4528 to reserve a spot. Please bring your child's birth certificate, social security card, immunization records, and proof of residency. Screening should take roughly an hour.

The middle school teachers presented their class ideas for Hometown Pride this week. The students will put in applications to apply for the class of their choice!


Just another reminder that parent teacher conferences will be held 1-7 pm today in both buildings. There will be no school tomorrow, Friday, March 9 or Monday, March 12.

Spring sports have officially started! Here are the softball girls hard at work!


The Dade County Christian Center is looking for volunteers March 9, 10, and 12 to help change out merchandise. Any student who would like to volunteer can sign-up on the orange sheet on the bulletin board in the main hallway in the high school. Volunteering not only gives back to the community but can also be beneficial when filling out applications and/or scholarships.

There will be a blood drive held in the high school ag room today from 12 - 4. Anyone is welcome.

ATTENTION PARENTS OF FOOTBALL PLAYERS: Calendars will be sent home the next couple of days with junior high and high school students interested in football with dates for spring and summer events. It is very important that we have all players at summer events. When fall practices begin, we only have nine days before the Jamboree, so summer contact days are very important for our season.

Don't forget that middle school physical information needs to be completed in Privit by today! Physicals will be tomorrow.

The School Board adopted an updated wellness policy at their last meeting. There are several changes to guidelines for food and snacks provided to students. The Wellness Committee will meet Friday at 1:30 in the elementary library to review the new updates. Community members are welcome to attend.
