Baseball games for tomorrow have been pushed back 2 hours. We will now play at 3:30 vs Diamond in Lamar.
Congratulations to these students who participated in the Area 9 FFA contests last night. Owen Neely, 1st Extemporaneous Speaking. Owen also advanced to the final round of interviews for State FFA Officer. Annie Neely, 1st Division I Public Speaking, Maren Cunningham, 2nd Creed Speaking, Greenhand Knowledge Team 3rd. These students will compete next week at the Southwest District contests at MSU! Way to go, we are so proud of you!

Fourth grader, Addie Roschevitz, represented Lockwood in the Joplin Spelling Bee yesterday. Out of 45 other 4th,5th, and 6th graders, she made it to the top 10 and ended up in 7th place. Great job, Addie!
The Lockwood Boys and Girls Basketball Awards Banquet will take place tonight at 7:00 in the High School Gymnasium.

Kindergarten screening will be held on Friday, April 21. You can sign up by calling Heather (232-4528) and scheduling an appointment. Your child must turn 5 before August 1 to be eligible. You will need to bring a copy of up-to-date shot records, proof of residence in the school district, a copy of child's birth certificate, and a copy of child's social security card.
Spring sports are getting ready to start! Here is a snapshot of the baseball jamboree this weekend at Stockton. Please remember that with spring sports come changes due to weather. We will do our best to update you as soon as possible in these situations.
