Just a reminder that football camp starts tomorrow and will be from 9-11 a.m.
There will be no football mini camp tomorrow, Wednesday, July 13. Camp will start on Monday, July 18 at 9:00 am.
Hallie Beard service information:
Visitation will be held at Daniel Funeral Home on Friday, July 15 from 5-7 PM.
Funeral will be held at the Lockwood High School Gymnasium on Saturday, July 16 at 2:00 PM.
It is with heavy hearts that we make this post to inform our students, staff and community of the loss of Hallie Beard last night due to a medical condition. Hallie was an extremely sweet girl who had an infectious personality and is going to be greatly missed by our LT community. Please keep Hallie’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
We will update you with visitation and funeral information as those decisions are made.
Counselors will be available on Wednesday morning from 10 am to noon if any students would like to gather together or meet individually with counselors. If your child would like to meet with Mrs. Eggerman individually feel free to reach out to me to set up a time and date.

*Summer Athletics Update*
-No weights the week of July 11-15.
-Football camp will start Monday, July 18 from 9-11 am.
-Camp will be Mon-Thurs (18, 19, 20, 21) and then Tues-Thurs (26, 27, 28). These dates are 9-11 am for middle and hs football.
-HS team camp will be Friday, July 29.
-There will be no camp on Friday, May 22 or Monday, July 25.

We are planning to offer the ACT at Lockwood on July 16. Students need to register at act.org by June 17 if interested.
Don’t forget bids for fitness equipment are due Friday! Please call the office with any questions.
We would like to extend a big thank you to Kenny Ogden and Russel Niehoff for donating their animals for our Mo Beef Program. It allowed our students to have beef as a daily option!

Our Friend of Education Award this year goes to Perry Ellis. Perry does so much for our district and we appreciate him so much! He was not able to take a picture with his plaque as he was driving a bus, but we did catch him earlier today dressed up! The students loved seeing Russell from the movie Up!
Congratulations to Mrs. Scott for receiving Elementary Teacher of the Year and to Mr. Grisham for receiving High School Teacher of the Year! We are grateful to have you at Lockwood!

We are going to surplus 8 pieces of equipment from our fitness room. We will take bids from now until Friday, June 3. Bids need to be turned into the Superintendent's office. Winning bidders will need to pick up equipment by Friday, June 10. Please contact the office with any questions.
